Terms & Conditions

The Coastal Paws Membership is a program developed and owned solely by Coastal Veterinary Hospital. As such, we retain the right to adjust and modify the program at any time to ensure we continue to provide a viable service and help save our clients’ money while supporting excellence in veterinary care.

  1. Membership Eligibility

    To be eligible for membership, you must be at least 18 years old at the time of application. Proof of age may be required.

     

  2. Membership Restrictions

    Each membership is restricted to one patient (cat or dog only). Households with multiple pets may hold multiple memberships. See Fee Schedule for details.

     

  3. Membership Duration

    Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of sign-up. It will automatically renew on a month-to-month basis for an additional 12 month period unless you provide notice of cancellation at least 30 days prior to the renewal date. Cancellation is permitted only within the first 1 month from the sign-on date or prior to the anniversary of that sign-on date. If a cancellation occurs, any discounts previously applied to your account will be reversed and are payable directly to the clinic. This policy ensures the sustainability of the program for all Coastal Paws Members.

     

  4. Cancellation Fee

    In the event of a cancellation, a management fee of $40 will apply and must be paid to the Coastal Veterinary Hospital directly.

     

  5. Payment Options

    Members can choose from the following payment options:
  • Monthly Direct Debit:

     

    Payments will be automatically deducted from your bank account on a monthly basis.

    Coastal Veterinary Hospital retains the right to adjust the program costs in response to industry price changes.
    The initial monthly payment is due at the time of signing up in the clinic, and in addition to a one-off joining fee of $50.
    Following this, eleven (11) additional monthly payments will be automatically debited  on the 15th of each month from your nominated account.
    A $10 dishonour fee will apply for any missed payments, which will be recorded on your client file at the clinic.
    If your account remains more than three months in arrears due to dishonoured debits, Coastal Veterinary Hospital reserves the right to reverse any discounts previously applied and may pursue the outstanding amount as a debt. To reinstate your Coastal Paws Membership, you will be required to repay the $50 joining fee.
    Membership plans will automatically renew on an annual basis. If you choose not to renew your membership, please notify us at least 30 days prior to the renewal date by emailing clinic@coastalveterinaryhospital.com.au.

  • Annual Fee:

     

    A one-time payment covering the full annual fee will be required at the time of sign-up. There is no additional joint fee. The total cost per year is $600 per patient for the first pet (cat or dog), then $540 for any subsequent pets.
    Coastal Veterinary Hospital reserves the right to reassess the Coastal Paws Membership costs based on industry price increases.
    The full payment is required upon signing up for Coastal Paws Membership in the hospital.
    Upfront payment plans will automatically renew each year, and the annual fee will be charged to your clinic account.
    If you wish to opt out of renewing your annual membership, please provide at least 30 days’ notice directly to clinic@coastalveterinaryhospital.com.au
  • Joining Fee:

     

    An initial non-refundable joining fee of $50 is required to enrol in any of the three life age plans.
  1. Termination of Membership

     

    If your membership is terminated, whether by your choice or due to failure to comply with membership terms, any discounts or benefits received during the membership period may be subject to repayment. The amount repayable will be determined based on the discounts applied during your membership.

  1. Pet Loss or Rehoming

     

    If your pet passes away, is rehomed, lost, or stolen,  please contact the Coastal Veterinary Hospital on 07 35447974 or via email clinic@coastalveterinaryhospital.com.au to discuss your Coastal Paws Membership options.
  1. Limitation of Liability

     

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the total amount paid by you for the Coastal Paws Membership. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or goodwill, arising from or related to your membership or services provided.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

     

    By signing up for Coastal Paws Membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions, as well as any future amendments that may be implemented by Coastal Veterinary Hospital Management.
    Thank you for your support in maintaining the quality of veterinary care through our program.
  1. Reservation of Rights

     

    Coastal Veterinary hospital reserves the right to deny any patient or client the right to join any Coastal paws membership program. Further, Coastal Veterinary Hospital reserved the right to cancel any membership at any time where it is deemed that the patient or client is no longer suitable for the program.
